Behind the scenes we are busy preparing end of grant statements /reports for the National Lottery , which have to be submitted very soon, this is a big piece of work, it is important and has to be in very soon.

Installation of Climbing Frame

We have had confirmation that this equipment is being delivered to Sheffield City council week beginning 6th February.

Willow Tunnel

We are aware that this is looking pretty unkempt and out of shape at the moment- this is due to the high winds at the park and the tunnel being so exposed

More Improvements - Benches

We have been advised by Sheffield City Council- Rangers dept, that the 5 benches that we obtained through lottery funding are to be installed towards the end of Feb 2012.

Tree planted in the park in memory of local couple

After advertising our community tree planting day on Sunday 11th December, we were contacted by Mrs Lindy Stephenson who asked if it would be possible for her and her sisters to come and help plant a tree and dedicate it to their parents, Dorothy and Douglas Burnell who lived on Arnold Avenue and loved to walk their dogs on the park.
