Tree planted in the park in memory of local couple

After advertising our community tree planting day on Sunday 11th December, we were contacted by Mrs Lindy Stephenson who asked if it would be possible for her and her sisters to come and help plant a tree and dedicate it to their parents, Dorothy and Douglas Burnell who lived on Arnold Avenue and loved to walk their dogs on the park.

Fundraising for Climbing frame - goal £14,500.

The friends are trying to raise £14,500 for the larger climbing frame that our local children have asked for. So far we have applied for and been successful in raising £8,000, which leaves us with a shortfall of £6,500.
