We all decided that it would be nice to have an interactive fun night, incorporating a disco and games for the kids, as January can be such a dull month, after the festivities of Christmas. It was a great opportunity for the group and school to work in partnership again, to bring about some positive changes to the school and the local environment

You may remember that the friends had submitted a bid to the Lottery for money towards the proposed environmental area -

The "Friends" recently launched an appeal for old mobile phones, so that working in conjunction with a company called Fones4Schools, we could recycle them and use the money raised for the park.

WOW ! -What fantastic news, Thanks so much for this very generous donation, this is a real example of a local business, backing a voluntary community group , and doing there best to support a local community project.

We are very pleased to announce that Sheffield City Council have awarded our group a £500 grant, which we had to apply for.

ATTENTION ALL DOG WALKERS. Our local children have raised many concerns over people allowing their dogs to foul on the playing field and not cleaning up after them.
