This event was held at Gleadless Library, on White Lane, and was giving the Community the chance to come along and have their say, with regards to the proposals for the Recreation Ground site.

Successful or not ? we have to wait until May 2007 to find out ! The " FRIENDS" have completed a bid to try to secure funding for the nature walk/ environmental area, that could be incorporated in to the park, running the length of the field by the Hawthorne hedge.
