Outdoor Gym Equipment

We now have 8 pieces of robust gym equipment for any age to enjoy.

This is situated around the perimeter of the park and was funded by the National Lottery - Community Spaces in conjunction with Groundworks UK.


Recreation Area

New play equipment including:

Junior and Toddler Swings, Dizzy Sticks, Springies (one of which has side supports), Climbing Pyramid, Zip Wire.

Double seated Lion Springie See-Saw. Ideal also for our disabled users who may need a companion to sit by the side of them for support.

Basket Swing - for those who are unable to sit this allows for a child to lay and enjoy the freedom of a good swing.

Climbing Frame, with Slide and Firemans Pole (aimed at toddlers to approx 10 years old)

Ability Roundabout- which has 2 wheelchair bays and seats- flush to the ground to enable easy access for wheelchairs or pushchairs

Plenty of seating, bins and even some picnic tables for you to enjoy.

Natural Play Builder Adventure Trail

Outside of the recreation area a little further down the park to the left hand side there is another play feature.

This includes: A large wooden climbing frame with a scramble net underneath to climb upon A Balance Bar A Balance Bridge The Willow Tunnel



The Ampitheatre is situated half to three quarters of the way down the park, near the wooden climbing frame. It is made from reclaimed stone and is a fantastic place to just sit and watch the world go by , but is also a great free resource that can be used for reading, art work, and small theatre/drama workshops.

It is situated in a beautiful green belt park and has beautiful views over the countryside. A very peaceful setting .
